Family Day Blood Drive A Success

Memorial Blood Centers thanked all Raspberry Festival attendees for the support. According to Brian Googins; “Our blood drive was a huge success even in the oppressive heat. We collected 34 units of whole blood. Because blood can be separated into 3 components (Plasma, Red Blood Cells and Platelets) the 34 units collected at the Raspberry Festival can be used to save up to 102 lives. This was our best collections yet at the Raspberry Festival so we would love to do it again next year!”
