According to Brian Googins; “Our blood drive was a huge success even in the oppressive heat. We collected 34 units of whole blood. Because blood can be separated into 3 components (Plasma, Red Blood Cells and Platelets) the 34 units collected at the Raspberry Festival can be used to save up to 102 lives. This was our best collections yet at the Raspberry Festival so we would love to do it again next year!”

The Kiddie Parade takes place tonight on Historic Hopkins Downtown Mainstreet. This is a very small parade where children dress up in their own costumes and parade down mainstreet. Awards presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Event registration starts at 5 p.m. in Hopkins Central Park with the parade starting at 5:45 p.m.
